Highlights from the Venture Capital Immersion Program:
Monday, December 9th
After a day of mentorship workshops and pitch practice, the entrepreneurs attended a networking event sponsored by PAG Law, where they gained insights into the legal aspects of expanding to the U.S. The evening ended with a group karaoke session– a fun bonding activity where the founders took the stage and gave it their all.
Tuesday, December 10th
The founders visited La Cometa, a Colombian art gallery, where they received a glimpse into Colombia’s cultural and artistic influence in Miami. It was also a chance to discover the growing presence of the Colombian tech community in the city.
Wednesday, December 11th
The group was honored to meet Mayor Francis Suarez and Moishe Mana, Chairman and Founder of Mana Common. Both leaders engaged with the Colombian founders, discussing how Miami’s ecosystem can support their growth and scale-up efforts. Later that day, the group attended the Open Finance 2050 meeting, making its Miami debut at Mana Tech’s Loft 10 event space, to connect with key players in the FinTech industry.
Friday, December 13th
The program concluded with 13 participants engaging in a “speed dating” activity, where the top seven startups were selected to pitch on Demo Day. The chosen startups were Carryt, Cluvi, Coco AI & e-Health, iMotriz, Monet, Menüpp, and ServiceBots. The winner of Demo Day was ServiceBots, while the People’s Choice Award went to Monet.
We extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this program. A special thanks to ProColombia for trusting us with this incredible initiative. We can’t wait to see what next year holds!
