History in the Booth: The Sound Stadium at Mana Wynwood Returns for MMW
From the legendary bass of Kaskade to the 10th Anniversary of Deadbeats, step inside the venue that continues to shape Miami Music Week year after year.
There’s a familiar moment for anyone who has spent a week in the humid, neon chaos of March in Miami. It’s the moment you step off the gravel of NW 5th Avenue and into the Sound Stadium at Mana Wynwood Convention Center. Known to fans as the “Black Room,” this 40,000-square-foot warehouse has become one of the week’s defining venues. With its expansive, warehouse-style design, Mana Wynwood is designed for high-energy raves and large-scale electronic performances.
In 2023, the property hosted just three Miami Music Week events, but in 2024, with the addition of Mana Wynwood 320, an intimate private venue, that number more than doubled. Hosting a total of eight events, Mana Wynwood’s footprint expanded significantly in Miami Music Week’s programming, cementing the campus as a top destination for live music and the week’s most anticipated experiences.
Between 2023 and 2025, the Black Room has welcomed a hall-of-fame roster of artists who define modern EDM. From Kaskade and Alison Wonderland’s surprise B2B moment to the powerhouse presence of Zeds Dead, the venue has consistently drawn headline talent. The stage has hosted fan-favorites like GRiZ, Madeon, San Holo, NGHTMRE, Crankdat, and Svdden Death, alongside massive collaborative moments including Zeds Dead B2B Subtronics, NGHTMRE B2B Peekaboo, and Shaq’s Bass All-Stars led by DJ Diesel.
As we look toward Miami Music Week 2026, the Sound Stadium is preparing to add several more names. The official lineup for this year includes:
- Thursday, March 26: Deadbeats 10 Year Anniversary: Zeds Dead returns to the Black Room to mark ten years of their iconic label and community with a massive anniversary showcase. This year’s lineup features Tape B and Boogie T, with other surprise guests yet to be announced.
- Friday, March 27: Brownies & Lemonade: While 2026 guests are under wraps, the “????” slots in this room are historically legendary. In 2025 alone, the lineup boasted Slander, Knock 2, and ISOxo.
- Saturday, March 28: Get Cranked Miami: Crankdat takes over the Sound Stadium for a high-intensity night of bass. He’s no stranger to the Black Room’s power, having previously shared the stage with legends like Flux Pavilion and Virtual Riot.
- Sunday, March 29: Outro: MMW Closing Party: The week reaches its finale with the official closing party. Previous “Outro” lineups have featured artists like Jessica Audiffred and Wooli, closing the week on a high note.
