Got Sole Brings Premier Sneaker and Streetwear Event Back to Mana Wynwood
Inside the event where global superstars and independent local vendors share the same floor to celebrate sneaker culture.
The premier sneaker and streetwear convention, Got Sole, is making its highly anticipated return to Miami, taking over the Mana Wynwood Convention Center. Known as the ultimate playground for sneakerheads, the event brings together thousands of enthusiasts, collectors, and vendors under one roof. Beyond the standard marketplace setup, the event has consistently drawn high-profile names from music and sports, including hip-hop artists Rick Ross and Wale alongside professional athletes.
What is it that draws superstars to a convention floor packed with thousands of people? According to Got Sole’s founders, it all comes down to an authentic, undeniable atmosphere that can’t be replicated elsewhere.
“The energy in that room is unlike anything else,” founder Jonathan DiModica shared. “When you walk into Got Sole, you feel it immediately – thousands of people who genuinely love this culture all in one place at the same time. That’s magnetic, and it doesn’t matter how famous you are, you want to be around that.”
Unlike typical celebrity appearances that rely on heavy security and isolated areas, guests at Got Sole participate directly in the event.
“What I think keeps the big names coming back is that nobody’s treating them like a sponsorship opportunity,” the founders explain. “They walk in, they shop, they negotiate at tables just like everyone else. There’s no VIP rope separating them from the culture – they’re IN it. Most events want to put a celebrity in a corner for a photo op. We just let them be collectors, and they love that.”
This setup removes the barrier between famous collectors and independent local vendors. For young resellers and micro-entrepreneurs setting up tables at Mana Wynwood, the format offers a unique opportunity to do business directly with global figures.
“This is honestly one of my favorite things about what we’ve built,” says the founding team. “Picture a 22-year-old kid from Miami. He’s been grinding, building his inventory, trying to grow his audience. Then Rick Ross walks up to his table and wants to negotiate on a pair. That moment changes everything. Not just the sale–the story.”
With a thriving local community, a massive lineup of vendors, and the inevitable surprise appearance of some of the culture’s biggest names, the upcoming Miami edition promises another major gathering at the center of sneaker culture, where collectors, resellers, creators, and fans come together under one roof.
