Costa Rica Leaves Its Mark in Miami!
10 tech startups selected by ProComer and Mana Tech learn how to scale up to the U.S. market.
This past month, Mana Tech and ProComer formed a strategic alliance to create an accelerator program tailored for Costa Rican to tech startups looking to expand into the U.S. market. The startups selected were: AKUREY, Asistente PIA, Creo Futbol, Factor K Software, Mensis, Neurobrand, Paralleldevs, Qanta Media, Softcial, Symbiotic Tecnologia SA.
The entrepreneurs spent four weeks in online workshops and pitch practices before embarking on a journey to Miami to showcase Costa Rican’s innovative talent. During their week in Miami, they connected with Florida’s tech ecosystem and gained firsthand insights into the U.S. market. They also had access to expert mentors who guided them through key aspects of expanding to the U.S., from marketing and branding to immigration.
On their final day, all ten founders participated in a speed-dating activity with judges, who then selected six startups to pitch at Demo Day: Factor K, Creo, Neuroband, Akurey, Symbiotic, and Quanta. The big win went to Eugenia Rodriguez from Neurobrand! A special thanks to the judges Roy de Souza, Gonzalo Avila, Cliff Roscow, and Bo Megginson, for their time and expertise.

Congratulations to all the companies for their hard work and dedication throughout these intense weeks. A heartfelt thank you to our partner ProComer, we look forward to collaborating again in the future.
